It has been a long run since 2002. Now in the mid's of 2009 and after an storage failure of our server dedicated to save our web, we invested 2 months on the re-vamping of our presence on the web. It was our wish to make a web that is on point, accessible and as fast
as possible. With the majority of nowadays websites made of tables, we jumped to use 100% css in our layout and design, and still maintain absolute rendering cohesion between browsers. Best viewed on Safari for Mac, Firefox and Chrome. I.Explorer... wait until css3?
MXL Flagship GENESIS
Post 2 - August 9th, 2009

Genesis, comes from the Greek word meaning "beginning", and with MXL's new pristine flagship mic, "Genesis", a new beginning has most certainly "dawned". From its' neon "moderne" good looks, to its' sturdy construction, it bodes well, pre-hearing. When paired against a Rode NTK,
a comparable tube mic, about the same price.... and after the dust settled, Genesis would be headed for the bar, while the Rode would lay waiting for a tombstone.
It offers a contoured bass response and detailed mids: smooth as a baby's booty.

This great 2009 is giving us the chance to thank big personali- ties like John Palmer(Houston's Gem of Abstract Art), Mark Stephens (former Chaka Khan keyboardist) for those tickets to his concert at the Verizon Theater, Phylicia Rashad for complimenting our humble
photo artwork, Tim'm West (National acclaimed Hip Hop/ writer/ artist). Also thanks to the likes of Chandra Bass, Phyllis Frye & Jerry Simoneaux (Attorneys-at-law), Greg Jeu & Tim Brookover (experienced publishing gurus) and Billie Simone for her poet soul.

The 30th of August was a special day. Tim'm's Houston Front Porch drew a big n' willing crowd to True Colors Club. Maurice Jamal honored his one man show oral skills with grace and aplomb, while Caretta Bell burnt the stage with her beauty, soulful singing and true
professionalism. Tim'm, once more hosted a memorable show where music and spoken word shone brighter than ever, and delivered his introductory piece for the first set 'Against The Grain' with a flow and freedom that only seasoned artists are capable of.
